Area Trainer

JOB TITLE:	Area Trainer
REPORTS TO:	Area Manager / Overseas Training Staff
DEPARTMENT:	Site Operations

ROLE PURPOSE
Alongside area manager and training staff take responsibility for the training of overseas campsite staff both on the main training site and within a designated geographical area, ensuring the best possible standards of customer care are trained at all times, thereby achieving the customer satisfaction levels required.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Training team by taking part and delivering training sessions held at Berny Riviere.
Assist in taking the responsibility for the welfare and performance of all staff on site by carrying out regular performance monitoring and training, thus ensuring satisfactory Customer Questionnaire results.
Assist in the monitoring of on-site staff training and general staff development through regular contact with the Area Manager and Site Operation’s Team.
Assist the Area Manager in ensuring that all administration tasks with regards to training and development (e.g. On-Site Training Booklets,, Site Visit Forms, Staff Assessments and Appraisals) are completed accurately and on time by following the procedures detailed in the Training and Overseas Staff Handbooks.
Where applicable, closely monitor any Specialist Clubs offered on site, ensuring Specialist staff are provided with the necessary training and support in order to carry out their role successfully, and ensuring that the highest standards of service are being offered at all times.
Ensure appropriate Company Image is being reflected at all times, ensuring correct uniform is worn by all GVN staff on site at correct times and that, as per the Overseas Staff Handbook, guidelines regarding corporate identity, dress code & alcohol code are rigorously upheld.
Work in a flexible manner at all times so as to achieve the overall objectives of the Company.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO FULFILL JOB ROLE

Essential

Good Spoken and written English
At least 1 year’s driving experience – required to be over 21
Customer Service Experience
Team Work

Desirable

Conversational language in – French, Spanish, Italian, German or Dutch
Camping Industry Experience
Training Experience
