ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES & BEHAVIORAL CRITERIA)
Above all, Installation Engineers need to demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in order to get the job done. There is a strong possibility that this job will involve a lot of travelling and is entirely unsuited to someone who wishes to spend a lot of time in one place. The job is varied and satisfying but it is also very heavy work and if not treated with respect can be dangerous. All training is provided but not all eventualities can realistically be covered so it is up to the individual to be prudent with the methods and means they apply when presented with problems to solve.
